Routines / Right to Represent Check
Right to Represent Check
Each time a submission is created in your applicant tracking system, Jane checks that the right to represent names this client and job and is still in date. A vendor management system submission is checked against the end client. If a check fails, Jane puts a hold note on the submission and sends a request to the candidate.

Questions about Right to Represent Check
What does the Right to Represent Check routine do?
It checks every new submission for a right to represent that covers this client and this job and has not expired, and holds the submission with a drafted request when one is missing.
Does Jane send the right to represent request herself?
No. She drafts it from the recruiter's mailbox with the client, job and rate filled in, and the recruiter approves it before it is sent.
How does she handle jobs that come through an MSP or VMS?
She records the job and the right to represent under the end client. The MSP or VMS is the channel the job came through and is never treated as the client.
Can we set our own rules?
Yes. Tell Jane how long a right to represent stays valid at your firm and whether it must name the rate, and she applies that to every submission.
