Questions about Provider Credential Renewals

What does the Provider Credential Renewals routine do?

Each week it lists every provider credential expiring in the next 90 days, drafts requests for the renewed documents, and attaches what comes back in Bullhorn.

Does Jane verify the credentials?

No. Primary source verification stays with your credentialing team or the provider you use for it. Jane collects the document and tells the team it is ready.

Does she contact providers on her own?

No. Each request is drafted from the recruiter and sent only after the recruiter approves it.

Can we change the 90 days?

Yes. Set the lead time per credential, such as 120 days for a state licence that takes longer to renew.
