Routines / State Licence Check
State Licence Check
Each time a shortlist is posted or a provider is added as a submission in Bullhorn, Jane looks up the state licence in Axuall Explore and the state board's public lookup. She writes the licence number, expiry date and source to the provider's record. Providers without evidence come off the list when the job needs a licence.

Questions about State Licence Check
What does the State Licence Check routine do?
It looks for an active licence in the job's state for each provider on a shortlist or submission, records the evidence in Bullhorn, and removes providers without evidence when the job needs a licence to present.
Does this replace primary source verification?
No. Jane's check tells the recruiter whether a licence exists before the provider is presented. Your credentialing process still verifies licences and DEAs at the primary source.
Can we change the three month rule?
Yes. Tell Jane the rule your firm uses, for example a different window or a client that accepts a pending licence, and she applies it to every job.
Where are the results kept?
On the provider's Bullhorn record, with the state, licence number, expiry date and the place Jane found it, so the next recruiter does not repeat the search.
