Routines / Bill and Pay Rates
Bill and Pay Rates
For each new job in your applicant tracking system, Jane reads the bill rate from the vendor management system or client portal or estimates it from typical pay. She takes off the managed service provider fee, your margin and your hourly costs with your own calculator and writes both rates on the job. She flags jobs that pay below market in chat.

Questions about Bill and Pay Rates
What does the Bill and Pay Rates routine do?
It finds or estimates the bill rate for each new job, takes off the MSP fee, your margin and your costs, and writes the bill rate and pay rate on the job record.
Does Jane quote pay to candidates?
No. She writes the rate on the job. Your recruiters quote pay, and any message Jane drafts with a rate is approved by a recruiter before it is sent.
Can she use our own rate calculator?
Yes. Give her your margin rules, the fee each MSP takes and your cost per hour, such as malpractice insurance by specialty, and she uses them on every job.
Which systems does it work with?
Bullhorn, Ceipal, JobDiva, Crelate and most other ATS, plus the VMS and client portals your firm works in.
