## How it works

1. **A new email arrives.** The routine starts each time a new email arrives in your Gmail or Outlook mailbox. Jane reads the full thread behind it.
2. **Jane sorts the email.** Jane checks your applicant tracking system or client database for the sender. She separates what needs you today from what can wait and files cold sales pitches in their own folder.
3. **Replies are in Slack or Teams.** For each email that needs an answer, Jane writes the reply and posts it in your triage channel in Slack or Teams.

### What does the Auto Sorted Inbox routine do?

### Does Jane send replies on her own?

No. Every reply is a draft until you approve it in chat. Jane never answers a cold pitch and never deletes email.

### Can she draft replies to follow up on my phone calls?

Yes. Many replies at a staffing firm confirm something agreed on a call. If your calls are recorded in Fireflies or Granola, Jane reads the recording and drafts the follow up from what was said.

### Can we change how email is sorted?
